PORTLAND PUBLIC TRANSIT

TriMet Bus Service
TriMet manages the city’s public transportation system, which includes bus service, the MAX light rail and a streetcar. One TriMet ticket applies to all modes of Public Transit.
MAX Light Rail
Five MAX lines run from the Portland city center each covering a different section of the city. Downtown Portland acts as a hub-like center for the system. Portland International Airport can be reached via the Red Line. For information on the stops and operating times click here.


Portland Streetcar
The original Portland Streetcar line takes you through downtown from Portland State University to the Nob Hill neighborhood via the popular shopping and dining area of the Pearl District. Two new lines provide service across the city’s newest bridge, Tilikum Crossing.
